Special Announcement

Heart Test Laboratories MyoVista™ System Awarded European CE Mark for Heart Disease Screening

Heart Test Laboratories has announced that the MyoVista™, its medical screening system which detects Myocardial abnormalities, has been awarded the CE Mark Certification by TÜV SÜD. The CE mark (Conformité Européenne) is a mandatory European marking for certain product groups to indicate conformity with essential health and safety requirements

This milestone represents a significant step forward for broadening access to affordable heart disease screening," said Heart Test Lab’s CEO Drew Diaz. "We are hopeful that by making our state-of-the-art technologies more accessible abroad, we will play a role in reducing the global burden of heart disease."  Read More

The MyoVista Cardiac Screening System by Heart Test Laboratories
Quick,
Inexpensive, Non-Invasive & Accurate

Heart Test Laboratories Inc. (HTL), a US based company is a rapidly developing medical technology company concentrating on inventing life saving devices for the Coronary Arterial Disease (CAD) market.

Heart Test Laboratories is in the final stages of releasing it's new patent pending screening device, the MyoVista™, a portable, inexpensive, diagnostic test used to determine the presence and level of myocardial abnormalities and the obstruction of coronary arteries.

Since 2003, over 50,000 patients have been corollated with the MyoVista Technology to determine the presence and level of myocardial abnormalities  (restriction of blood flow to the heart) through a quick, inexpensive, non-invasive procedure.

Two recently completed clinical studies show an average 90% or better correlation to an invasive Coronary Angiogram indicating this unique technology is positioned to change the way all patients are screened for Coronary Arterial Disease.

Heart Test Labs will use its patent pending technology to establish production and sales distribution to the United States and all International markets.

How Will Cardiac Patients in Need Benefit from MyoVista Technology?

Heart Test Laboratories MyoVista™ technology incorporates three-dimensional mapping of the heart through proprietary algorithms that continuously multiplex each of the ten surface electrodes. This data includes the Amplitude, timing and spatial relationship (frequency) of these signals.

HTL technology is able to give the clinician qualitative and quantitative information regarding the abnormality or obstruction of vessels as well as, image location of the problem in the Myocardium.

Combined with the physicians’ experience and judgment, a superior matrix of information to properly identify and diagnose the condition of the patient is achieved.

The current ECG technology receives information from 1000 points of the heart. Heart Test Laboratories technology is derived from more than one million points in the Myocardium on a beat to beat basis at the cellular level.

An easy to read graph is presented and interpreted by a clinician. Experience with the clinical trials has indicated that the learning curve for the system is generally within twenty minutes by any care giver.

Why is the MyoVista System Better than Conventional Non-Invasive Methods of Identifying CAD?

The value of today’s ECG technology lies in its ability to support a suspected diagnosis of acute ischemia and to determine the level of risk.

However, there are several limitations to current 12 lead ECG technologies; According to the AHA, using the current ECG technology provides a less than a 25% chance of identifying the early stages of Myocardial Ischemia.

Four years of testing along with Current Heart Test Labs clinical trials, the last in the US, have shown an average 90% or better correlation to an invasive angiogram with the MyoVista technology

How will Physicians Benefit by Using the MyoVista Technology, Once Approved?

  1. High Accuracy in the Identification and Quantification for Myocardial abnormalities and artery obstructions.

  2. Fast Non-Invasive Procedure, (5-10 minutes for complete test).

  3. Low Cost, thus Producing an Overall Cost Savings.

  4. Portable Unit Which can be used in the Office, ER, or Hospital.

  5. Easy to Read so any Care Giver may Administer.

Global Market Opportunity

The MyoVista™ Technology will be used in any office setting or environment where patients are being evaluated for cardiovascular health. This includes hospitals, physician’s clinics, and portable health care stations.
